Studio Grid

A gridding app for artists, made by a working portrait artist for his own drawings. Match your reference to your paper, lay a grid over it, and draw.

What it does

Match the grid to your paper: A5, A4, A3 or your own size
Fill the sheet or fit the whole photograph, with whole squares if you prefer no part rows
Pinch and drag to frame the photograph, with the paper shape locked
Diagonals, and subtle numbering on all four edges
A drawing view: the reference full screen, with a look closer zoom
Values, skin warmth and vanishing edges, for seeing your reference in grey before you draw it
Your drawings are saved and reopen where you left off

Studio Grid is in testing. It will be on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
