Paul Davies

I am originally from Derry and I live and draw in Kinsale, County Cork.

I draw in graphite, from photographs, in the evenings around a full time job and a family. Every line is drawn by hand. Nothing here is generated, traced or finished by a machine.

My signature style leaves the working visible: the construction grid, the raw edges, the places where the drawing is still becoming a face. I like that you can see how it was made.
