A graphite portrait of someone you love, drawn by hand from your photograph, signed and posted flat. Three at a time, so each one gets the attention it deserves.

Prints of your portrait
Fine art copies of your own commissioned portrait, giclee prints on Enhanced Matte Art paper. Prices are per bundle, for copies of the same portrait ordered together, with delivery included within Ireland.

How it works
- Send me the photograph you have in mind. I will tell you honestly whether it will make a good portrait, and help you choose between photos.
- We agree the size, the style and the price in writing, and you pay the 50% deposit by Revolut or bank transfer to book your slot.
- I draw. I share work in progress on Instagram as it builds, unless you would rather I did not. Just say, and nothing is posted.
- You pay the balance, and it ships flat and signed.
Questions people ask
Will it be ready for Christmas?
If you order by 31 October, yes. After that I cannot promise it, because each portrait takes six to eight weeks and the queue is real.
Which photo works best?
Good light on the face, taken reasonably close, with the eyes sharp. Send me a few and I will tell you honestly which will make the better portrait, and why. That conversation is free and there is no obligation.
Can you draw two people?
One person per portrait for now. If you have a photograph of two people in mind, email me and we will talk about it.
Can you work from an old photograph?
Often, yes. Old and damaged photographs are some of the most meaningful pieces I draw. Send it and I will tell you what is possible.
Can I order prints of it?
Yes. Once your portrait is finished you can order fine art copies of it, which is what most families do when several of them want one. Prices are above.
How long does it take?
Six to eight weeks from the day we agree the photograph. There is a real queue, and the drawing takes as long as it takes to be right.
How do I pay?
Half to book your slot, by Revolut or bank transfer, which holds it and covers the materials. The balance before it is posted. I send you the details by email.
How does it arrive?
Flat, protected and signed. Tell me where it is going and I will confirm the postage.

Everything resolved, no visible working. The same price: the signature style is not less work, it is a different intention.
